Proudly Serving the Dedicated First Responders of Livingston County
The Disaster Assistance Response Team will strive to provide the highest level of service to First Responders and Disaster Victims in Livingston County. Services will include, but not limited to: Canteen service (coffee, cold drinks, water, snacks) and Rehab service (help keep them warm and dry in the cold winter months and cool and hydrated in the hot summer months) as well as helping with the immediate needs of the disaster victims. This will be done in a professional manner and in way that does not obstruct the activities of the First Responders. No volunteer will be asked to do anything that he or she has not been thoroughly trained for or feels uncomfortable doing. There will always be a seasoned volunteer working with the new volunteer until they feel they can perform the required functions on their own. Continuous Quality Improvement A representative from the Team will attend all Fire Chief's meetings to receive feedback regarding Team's performance and will make recommendations to the Team for continued improvements. The Team will also make suggestions to the Fire Chiefs for continued improvement of services.
